Tomáš Beránek has been involved in retail real estate since 2006. Prior to setting up CZ Retail Advisors he was heading the high street retail and tenant representation departments at Cushman&Wakefield and CBRE for 13 years.
Tomas has completed over 300 retail transactions and gained detailed knowledge of retail locations in Prague, across the Czech Republic and key retail destinations in CEE. He represented brands such as: Samsung, Adidas, Pandora, Tous, Swarovski, Kering, Nespresso, KB, Palmers, Foot Locker, Jolleo, UniCredit and others.
He has worked with all major shopping centre landlords in CZ – Palladium, URW (Chodov, Cerny Most, Zlicin), ECE (Arkady Pankrac, Olympia and Vankovka Brno), CPI (Prague, Pilsen, Liberec, Ceske Budejovice), IKEA (Ostrava, Brno), Dandreet (Olomouc), Atrium (Flora and Pardubice) etc.
Tomas received his master’s degree at the University of Economics, Prague. He also studied retail at the University of Arizona, USA and the University of Stirling, UK.
Tomas began his career in the CBRE retail team in 2016. As senior consultant he specialized in the high street retail and tenant representation.
Tomas helps retailers set their expansion strategies while entering the Czech market, as well as he assists established retailers securing new locations. He monitors closely latest trends, searches for new opportunities and provides his clients with fresh view and innovative solutions.
Tomas focuses on key high street locations in Prague, Brno, as well as in Karlovy Vary. He also works in close cooperation with shopping centres and retail & office landlords.
Tomas has been in numerous negotiations with national and international retailers (fashion, food and services).
